Heavy drinkers have weak immune system and can contract allergies, infections, and other diseases quickly. It can lead to permanent damage to important organs like liver and brain and leads to premature death. Additionally, consuming alcohol leads to lack of coordination and impaired judgment and may lead to accidents when driving. Reduced inhibitions due to alcohol consumption can make the drinker addicted to other vices such as gambling, drug abuse etc.
